PTI petition against one of the members of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) rejected by the Islamabad High Court.
The ECP has a chairman, who is also the chief election commissioner, and four members, one from each of the four provinces.
PTI had filed the petition against Sindh province ECP member Nisar Durrani and seeking his removal.
However, the Islamabad High Court rejected the petition declaring it inadmissible on Monday.
IHC Chief Justice Athar Minallah rejected the petition after hearing the argument from both sides.
The PTI leaders, including Imran Khan, since the days they were in power attacking the ECP.

Justice Minallah said during the hearing on Monday. 'The ECP is a constitutional body and the Constitution provides for the process to remove an ECP member'.
He asked the PTI counsel about the process given in the constitution, and the lawyer said that under the constitution the Supreme Judicial Council could remove an ECP
member.
The court will follow the Constitution and nothing else, The chief justice said that.
Sindh ECP member’s was a different case and the court could use its constitutional jurisdiction, the lawyer claimed.
Justice Minallah said that under the Constitioin provides for the forum to remove an ECP member.
