Sindh: An outbreak of water-borne diseases in flood-hit areas continues to claim lives, especially killing children.
Over millions of acres stagnant water has become a breeding ground for different diseases like gastroenteritis, malaria and diarrhea.
In Hyderabad, a nine-year-old girl succumbed due to lack of medical relief camps and cleaning services.
No precautions have been taken so far against gastro and malaria diseases.
The survivors present a gloomy picture for they lack facilities and health care amid a lack of medical camps in many areas.

In Sanghar diseases like diarrhea, respiratory infections, skin diseases as well as eye problems rising in medical relief camps.
People complained that some medical relief camps have no doctors and others have short of staff.
While in Sukkur, from water-borne diseases as many as 25 children have died this month. Some people also protested against the drainage of water.
